Change of venue
Due to the unfortunate and unforeseen political link to a high profile Russian owner of Stamford Bridge and continued uncertainty around the financial stability of this venue since government sanctions, we have taken the decision to move the venue of The PIE Live - Leaders in International Education.
Rest assured, the event will be the same superb range of sessions and speakers in a super venue - just no pitchside views on this occasion. We're moving to the central London location of The Brewery.
Our primary motivation is to safeguard the potential of The PIE Live to be a brilliant, collegial event enabling our global delegates to meet, mingle and learn from each other. We're keen to avoid any association with the Ukraine conflict, which we all deplore, and want to remove any anxiety any of our delegates, sponsors or speakers may feel by attending the event while at Chelsea.
We have been lucky to secure a backup venue - this may mean some inconvenience if accommodation has been sourced for which we can only apologise, but as I stated last week, the venue choice was made months ago when thoughts of war or sanctions seemed an impossibility. If you need any help regarding nearby hotel accommodation, please contact Kim Martin.
The silver lining to this news means that our sold-out black tie event to celebrate The PIE's 10th anniversary can now accommodate more guests - if you would still like to book, please register online by Wednesday 16th March.
Thanks for your ongoing understanding and we are really looking forward to seeing you next week.
